Emergency: In the event of a medical emergency, a natural disaster, or weather-related incident occurs that keeps the defendant from appearing in court, reporting to Pretrial Services, to be present for drug or alcohol testing or counseling sessions, or to be home as scheduled, the defendant should call the Pretrial Services Office and speak to their officer, or a duty officer, for further instructions. If the emergency occurs after hours, the defendant should call the Pretrial Services Office and leave a voice mail message stating the nature of their emergency, their location, and a telephone number where they can be contacted.
